How can I clean multimat?

No double sided tapes, vacuums or clamps are needed and MultiMat can be easily removed and stored for later use. It can then be re-installed by placing it in position and gently pressing down. No other hold down system is so fast and easy to use.

What happens if I engrave through the engraving material and into MultiMat?
MultiMat has a self healing feature. Small cuts in the surface of MultiMat should not cause a problem and even seem to heal. Of course continued cuts over a long period of time will degrade the effectiveness of MultiMat.

Multimat can be cut to size with a standard plastic shear. Some users will cut the mat to fit their table size. Others prefer to cut their MultiMat into several equal sheets corresponding to the size of plate or materials they most often engrave. They use one, and keep the others in reserve. Multiple mats can also be used by positioning them next to each other.
